DAVIDsTEA Announces New Seasonal Faves
By Kathy Chin Leong

Nothing says fall better than a cup of tea. Outside my office window I see the beginning of gray skies, the twinge of crispy fall is in the air, but I don’t get sad. Why? A mug filled with fresh brewed tea warms my hands, and I smile. This yummy, encouraging brew magically keeps me on task.  What also helps is that I have a small cup warmer on my desk. This $5 device is a godsend in keeping cups warm all the time.  I just have to remember to turn it off at the end of the say.  Now, where was I?

Oh yes, DAVIDsTEA brings forth fall flavors that harken to autumn.  Sweet flavors for this fall include blueberry muffin which includes apples, raisins, carrot, and dried blueberries, and in fact, tastes like a liquid blueberry muffin. Carrot cupcake tea tastes exactly like a carrot cupcake, too.  The tea includes bits of  dried carrot, ginger and cinnamon. And with Halloween around the corner, we celebrate with pumpkin chai, a black tea infused with cinnamon and cloves, plus the sweetness of caramel and pumpkin candy.

Next, there’s nutty granola crunch, a rooibos-based tea offering a blend of apple, almonds, coconut and sweet brittle. You will be tempted to eat it right out of the bag, but don't!   Packets of two ounces run $9 to $10. The elevated tea company also sells limited edition mugs and hot tea carafes, so check things out and don’t wait too long to order.
And if you thought kids cannot drink tea, reconsider.  Flavorful teas are much better than sweet drinks and have fewer calories.  You can purchase non-caffeinated products and get their palates started young.  Read the blog: Tea Party for Kids: http://blog.davidstea.com/en/for-the-kids-throw-the-worlds-greatest-tea-party/  Check on the seasonal teas on  www.davidstea.com
