The Jim Russell Racing Drivers School allows drivers at all levels to compete on the challenging, 12-turn Infineon Raceway road course. Courses are offered in open-wheel, formula Mitsubishi race cars that can reach speeds up to 120 mph.
The schools combine seat time, one-on-one instruction and a quick pace to provide an exciting experience in all of their classes, which range from half-day to three days. For those who'd like to hone their day-to-day driving skills, the racing school also offers Highway Survival and High Performance driving classes. Ravenswood Blending Seminars with Peter Griffith are something to treasure.While most wineries offer tours along with their tastings, Ravenswood offers you the chance to be a winemaker for the day. Experience the joys and frustrations of being a winemaker. Peter will introduce zinfandel, carignane, and petite sirah, and discuss the flavor profile of each varietal explaining why they are blended together. Then each participant creates their own blend, and leaves with a 375ml bottle of their own to impress their friends. Allow for an hour and a half.
