Ways to Save on Lift Tickets


If one of your New Year’s resolutions included saving money, Northstar Resort and Sierra Resort are making it easy to get on the slopes as often as possible this season and still keep a little extra cash in your pocket.

Double Whammy Season Pass.
Want all-season access to two of the finest resorts in Lake Tahoe? Quad Ticket Paks.
Northstar Resort’s Quad Ticket Pak is back! Purchase a Quad Pak and get four lift tickets valid any day through the end of the 2007-08 winter season. Tickets do not need to be used consecutively. The quad pak is non-transferable (limited to the name on the pak) and limited to one ticket per day. Ages 23+ ski or ride for less than $58 per day, ages 13-22 for $48 per day, and kids ages 5-12 ski or ride for just $15 per day.

Sierra Resort 3-Paks.
Ski or ride for as low as $45 per day when you purchase Sierra Resort’s 3-pak for $135. The 3-pak lift ticket non-transferable and is valid for any three days of the season, including holiday dates (dates do not need to be consecutive).

Multi-Day Lift Tickets.
Planning to ski or ride two or more consecutive days? Multi-day lift tickets are a great way to save a bundle at Northstar Resort and Sierra-at-Tahoe Resort, with guests saving up to $12 per day.

Safeway Lift Ticket Cards.
Purchase an adult 1-day lift ticket card valid at Sierra-at-Tahoe Resort at select Safeway locations and save $11! This card is valid for any day during the 2007-08 season. Or, purchase an adult 2-day lift ticket card valid at Northstar-at-Tahoe Resort at select Safeway locations and save $29! This card is valid for two out of three consecutive days during the 2007-08 season. Skip the lift ticket line and head straight to the lifts with these convenient cards.

College Weeks.
College students are invited to bring their current student ID to Sierra-at-Tahoe Resort or the Tickets and Season Pass Office located in the Village at Northstar™ and receive a $51 lift ticket valid March 17-21 & 24-28, 2008; March 31-April 4, 2008.

REI Lift Tickets.
Bypass the ticket lines by purchasing discount direct-to-lift tickets at 15 Northern California and Nevada REI locations. REI Co-op members are able to purchase discount lift tickets that are valid any day during the 2007-08 season at either Northstar-at-Tahoe Resort or Sierra-at-Tahoe Resort.

Any Mountain Kiosk.
Purchase a two out of three day direct to lift adult or child ticket for Northstar-at-Tahoe Resort and save! This card is valid for two out of three consecutive days during the 2007-08 season. Or, purchase an adult 1-day lift ticket card valid at Sierra-at-Tahoe Resort any day during the 2007-08 season.

Value Season Shop Tickets.
Pick up a coupon valid for a $51 lift ticket at Sierra Resort or Northstar Resort at select Bay Area, Sacramento and Reno ski and snowboard shops. The coupon entitles the holder to purchase a full day lift ticket at the $51 rate any day from January 2-18, 2008, and March 17 through the end of the 2008 season. Parent Predicament Lift Tickets.
A great option for tag-team child care, the interchangeable Parent Predicament lift ticket allows parents to share a lift ticket for the day. As one parent skis or snowboards, the other parent stays with the child until they’re ready to trade duties. Parents get a two-for-one as the Parent Predicament lift ticket is the same price as a regular full-day adult lift ticket.
