Nifty Luggage on Wheels
Yet another suitcase? I am hooked on this new iFLY Admiral X- series of hardshell luggage. I tested the 20-inch, black hardshell that has already flown with me to Arizona. It is lightweight, features four wheels that balance the unit well, and also comes with a lifetime warranty. I do like the fact it has an expandable zipper, and also a built-in lock.  There is a USB support for your phone, but I am still not sure how that works.  The regular zipper is shaped like a key, and I did have a hard time gripping it and zipping it all around. Other than that, it has a great design, and it glides effortlessly at the airport. I do not have to lug it at an angle since there are four wheels.  Of note is the fact that when you open it, the two sides of the case have garment zippers so that your gear is fully zipped behind fabric on both sides. Nothing will fall out when you open your case.  There are also smaller compartments inside the suitcase.  Quite durable for the weekend, the real test comes when you want to go international. The amount you can pack is about four sets of clothing, plus a couple of pairs of shoes, max.  For $99, that's not bad. It is also available in different sizes at Walmart stores nationwide.  Prices for the iFLY Admiral series runs from $89 to $149. Check it out at

Animal Cookies for Adults
These animals are coming with me, and I don't even have to check them in at the airport. I'm talking about the new Good Zebra Spirit Animal Crackers. The products, marketed as "free of refined sugar and high in protein," are the newest in the trend of healthy snacks. And for me, it's all about the taste. When I first saw the package, I was dubious. It is sweetened with organic honey and organic palm sugar. The taste is pretty good. The animal cookies have a fresh snappy crunch, and they are not too sweet on the tongue.  Packed with 12 grams of protein, one serving gives you 23 percent of your protein needs for the day. it comes in vanilla, lemon, and chai flavors.
