Here’s where to go:

Bartender Jed Inductivo makes a mean shave ice martini. This is for mom and dad only. Go to the Waikiki Parc Hotel at 233 Helumoa Rd. Honolulu.

Tsukiji Fish Market and Restaurant: www.tsukijifishmarket.com . Count on shave ice availability at the buffet for lunch or dinner. Visit this place at the Ala Moana Center, 1585 Kapiolani Boulevard, Honolulu.

Waiola Store : www.waiola.com  808/949-2269
